Gas Station Sushi started with something I never intended to share.
Art has always been my way of making sense of the world. It's how I process emotions, quiet my mind, and hold onto moments that are difficult to put into words. Some pieces come from joy, others from grief, frustration, curiosity, or simply whatever was sitting with me that day.
For a long time, those drawings were just for me.
Friends and family kept encouraging me to share them, but that felt uncomfortable. The work is personal because it's honest. Every piece carries a part of me, and putting it out into the world felt a little like handing strangers pages from my journal.
Eventually, I realized that waiting until I felt completely ready might mean waiting forever.
So I stopped trying to make everything perfect and decided to simply begin.
Gas Station Sushi is my way of sharing that process—through limited collections of hoodies, t-shirts, prints, and whatever else feels right. Every design starts as something real: a feeling, a memory, a strange idea, or a moment I wanted to hold onto.
But I also wanted this project to be about more than me.
I've always believed that creativity can be a force for good. There are so many organizations doing incredible work that deserve more attention and support, and I wanted this brand to help shine a light on them.
That's why each collection supports charities and causes that are close to my heart. As the collections change, so will the organizations I support—giving me the opportunity to contribute to different communities and issues over time.
Gas Station Sushi isn't just about wearing art.
It's about wearing something with a story, supporting independent creativity, and helping people who need it along the way.
Thank you for being here. Whether you're buying a print, wearing a hoodie, or simply following along, you're helping turn something deeply personal into something that can have a positive impact.
I think that's pretty cool.
